Kate Moss and Stella McCartney Join Forces for Breast Cancer Awareness

Get ready because during the month of October you are going to see this image many times. Created as a reminder for women to keep themselves healthy, long time friends Stella McCartney and Kate Moss joined forces to support the great cause of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Beyond the emblematic campaign that has everybody on the Internet talking, where the fashion icon shows part of her breasts while wearing the pink support ribbon, there is also the launch of the special Gemma Relaxing range, which is part of Stella McCartney's A/W 2014 Lingerie Collection.

Stella McCartney explains: "I wanted to remind women that when they wear this set, the first thing they put on in the morning, to keep on top of their health and visit their doctor regularly. I wanted it to be the initial starting point of awareness of this terrible illness. Not only does the set serve as a healthy reminder, but it looks great, fits incredible well, and is comfortable and stylish."

The Gemma Relaxing range in neon pink consists of a Soft Cup Bra, a Balcony Bra and the matching Briefs. Modern with clean and fresh cuts, the pieces have the designer's signature style all over. Unfortunately, the Soft Cup Bra is now out of stock (we hope its available soon on their website!). However, you can still purchase the Balcony Bra (available in sizes 32C to 36D) with the matching briefs (available in sizes from S to XL) for around 70 GBP all together.

Remember, a percentage of the profits from the worldwide sales of this range will be donated to the Linda McCartney Center in Liverpool, UK. A medical center (part of the Royal Liverpool University Hospital) dedicated to provide a more comfortable and welcoming environment for Breast Cancer patients and their families. The earnings will help fund a new Mammography suite for patients, so they can have the opportunity for early diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

We would love to know what your thoughts on this topic are. What do you think about the Campaign's image? If you have the opportunity of purchasing this lingerie set, would you buy it? Is the Campaign making you aware of your health, and maybe reminding you to have your yearly check up?
